Richard Biddle Davis
(1845–1929)
Nancy Ellen Jamison Davis
(1845–1938)

This site is dedicated to the ancestors and descendants of Richard Biddle Davis and Nancy Ellen Jamison Davis. They lived long and productive lives, endured the hardship of Civil War, and enjoyed 63 years of married life together. Through their ten children, their descendants now number in the hundreds. It is hoped that this site will act as a conduit to bring the many descendants of these two remarkable people closer together.

The following photograph was taken at a family reunion on 8 September, 1923, at 18 Federal Street in Carnegie, PA. With four generations present, it provides a unique glimpse of this vibrant and enduring family. The middle row is occupied by Richard, Nancy and the eight of their ten children living at the time.
