Frank’s father was dead by the 1900 Census. Frank was still living in Pittsburgh with his mother, Sarah, and brother, Thomas, in 1920. The brothers were in the roofing business together. When working in the bitter cold, Frank would wear a pair of ladies silk stockings under his work pants to keep warm.
