John and Elizabeth were married around 1866. The census reports in 1900 and 1910 state that Elizabeth was the mother of nine children, of whom, four were still living. John, Elizabeth, Alexander, Nellie, G. Sheridan and his wife, Millvina, are buried at Bethel Presbyterian Cemetery.
